The database application PaleoTax is a universal information system and helpful tool in all taxonomic work with fossil organisms. It is capable to give a complete overview on the whole literature and the taxonomic information enclosed there. The system supports the recording of data of any extant or fossil organism group (plants as well as animals) und helps mainly the beginner, to ease the boring investigation of literature and help him to manage the flood of taxa.
